Felipe Bueno
Multidisciplinary Symbolist Artist

Born in Bogotá in 1991, Felipe Bueno is a Belgo-Colombian multidisciplinary symbolist artist based in Brussels. A self-described symbolo-naut, he navigates the labyrinths of meaning by creating poetic riddles — artistic gestures that seek coherence in times of chaos.

Painter, sculptor, photographer, performer, writer, 3D artist, and Data engineer, Felipe merges these paths without borders. Since beginning his self-taught artistic journey in 2014, he has cultivated a body of work where visual and lyrical poetry converge, revealing imaginary landscapes and textures that invite contemplation.

For him, the symbol is not a metaphysical abstraction but an artistic and philosophical possibility — a way to transform daily life by linking opposites and unveiling the hidden side of the ordinary. His current research and practice explore Symbolism in dialogue with Japanese contemporary aesthetics, as well as the interaction between artificial intelligence, computational technologies, and artistic creation — seeking harmony between mystery, metaphysics, and modernity.

A lawyer by training, Felipe holds a Master’s degree in Arts from the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain). He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Colombia, South America, Spain, and Belgium, where his studio is currently located.
